New features in 2.3 include:

• Ring modulation - New effect for percussive or clangorous sounds.
• Patch breeding - Create new patches through genetic techniques.
• Key tracking modulation source - Use the keyboard note to modulate targets.
• Modulation matrix mute buttons - Selectively mute modulation routings.
• Legato portamento option - Optionally sound portamento only when notes are played legato.
• Legato mono option - Optionally repitch and do not retrigger notes when played legato in mono mode.
• Hierarchical menus - Makes navigation of long menus easier by categorizing selections.
• Variable polyphony - Selectable levels of polyphony.
• New fatter sound - Crystal's sound has been beefed up to give a fuller tonality.
