Prime Loops has announced the release of two new loop libraries: Tech House Drum Loops and House Guitar Loops - Volume 1, and launched a Free Music Production Tutorials Section on its web site.
Free Music Production Tutorials Section
This new section of Prime Loops' web site contains a large selection of Free Music Production Tutorials and Tips & Tricks. You can watch the videos online or download them for your computer, iPhone or MP4 Compatible device. There is also a selection of step by step PDF Tutorials with helpful screenshots which can be downloaded for free too.
The tutorials span a variety of genres and techniques for applications such as Logic, Live, FL Studio, Reason, MPC and others with around 10 new video tutorials planned to be added monthly. Videos are currently being made for Garageband, Cubase, Pro Tools and many others.
Current Tutorials include 'The Reverse Vocal Effect' , 'Clever Automation', 'Vocoder Vocals' and 'The Art of Compression' plus many more.
The tutorials cover basic to advanced techniques, and aside from the program specific tutorials, there are also tutorials such as 'EQ Masterclass', 'Licensing your music for TV & Film' and many other tips and tricks that should appeal to all levels of music composers.

House Guitar Loops has been recorded in 24-bit audio. Five 5 guitarists, including Prime Loops' resident guitarist Tom Warner, who recently toured with Adele, have contributed to the 130+ Guitar Loops & Samples found within the sample pack.
House Guitar Loops - Volume 1 contains a wide variety of styles including funky guitar riffs, latin jams, jazz progressions, nu-rave & indie loops, acoustic, Motown, and electric guitar styles.
The Loops are provided in a wide selection of formats, including: Wav, Apple Loops, Acid Loops, Rex2 Loops, MPC, Reason Refill and many more. Also included in this downloadable sample pack are over 20 Dry/Clean Major and Minor 7th guitar chord samples which can be used to as a backdrop to the loops found inside.
