MoReVoX has announced the release of two new sample libraries, DriveDrums V2 and ULTRADIMENSIONS.
DriveDrums V2
$129 download / $149 DVD / $49 for upgrade from DriveDrums V1
DriveDrums V2 is a drum sample library containing 30 Kicks, 30 Snares, 8 Toms Racks, 30 Cymbals and more for a total of 3136 Samples 24-bit | 44.1khz. The samples were processed using distortion through different vacuum tubes, analog tapes, and preamps to create samples with light to aggressive and violent distortion.
The samples have been divided into two categories : Drive Samples and Over Samples:
- The Drive Samples have been developed starting from the classic hardware harmonic distortion, so all the samples contain a smoother distortion character (Tape compression warmth, subtle valve saturation).
- The Over Samples instead are based on distortion; the samples have been developed finding their character in conjunction with the hardware distortion (Valve/Console Preamps, Analog Tape Saturation, Heavy Valve Compression, Dedicated distortion outboard).
New in V2: V2 has added a new Multi-drive feature that takes advantage of the new Room Sounds feature in Drumagog 5. V2 substitutes the room sounds for three controlled distortion "colours" through the plug-in mixer. These variations were then carefully processed through a variety of distortions, using top-quality analog signal chains, with the aim of providing different distortion colours components that can be mixed with the base samples.
In each GOG file you have three macro tone controls:
- Fatness.
- Richness/Attack.
- Top Definition.
ULTRADIMENSIONS [$99]
ULTRADIMENSIONS is a collection of 150 unique morphing algorithms for Drumagog 5's Morph|Engine. The Morph|Engine is a dynamic morphing processor for drum shaping. Snare drums can take on an organic "growl" or bass drums can sound like they have liquid skins. Unlike traditional processing, Morph|Engine is fluid and dynamic, changing with the dynamics of every beat.
ULTRADIMENSIONS contains 150 morph algorithms which include 8 variations allowing access to thousands of new drum sound nuances. For example, give a snare a tabla or berimbao resonance or create telluric presence in a kick drum.
