Celemony Melodyne v2.5 studio edition announced

At Musikmesse, Celemony Software is presenting the new Version 2.5 of Melodyne. With this update, Melodyne now also supports the Digidesign RTAS PlugIn interface and can therefore operate within the Pro Tools production environment.

File handling is also considerably simpler in Version 2.5, thanks to the comprehensive and intuitive functionality of the new Melody Manager. In addition, the internal MIDI output can now be sent directly to VST instruments hosted by Melodyne. This offers a wealth of creative possibilities, including the ability to combine natural and synthesized sounds in totally new ways.

The update to Version 2.5 (RTAS support only in the studio edition) for Windows and Mac is free for registered users of Version 2.0 upwards and is scheduled for download starting mid April 2004.
