iZotope has announced the acquisition of the iDrum and pHATmatik PRO virtual instruments from creator Art Gillespie (Glaresoft). Effective immediately, iZotope will assume all sales and support responsibilities for iDrum and pHATmatik PRO.
iDrum is a software drum machine designed for users of all skill levels in music production. Features a 64-step sequencer for each loaded voice, drag and drop MIDI export, choke grouping, as well as level and pan control for each sound. iDrum's sound set is expandable, fully customizable, and features a wide array of included drum samples and patterns.
iDrum is currently available for $69.99 MSRP and is distributed to resellers worldwide by M-Audio, a part of Avid. (Compatibility: Mac OS X 10.3+; Standalone, Pro Tools RTAS, Audio Unit)
pHATmatik PRO is a software loop manipulation tool for music and sound design. Users can import multiple audio file formats, slice and adjust looping points, and apply tempo, pitch, filters and many other parameters to each individual slice.
pHATmatik PRO is available for $149.99 MSRP, and is distributed to resellers worldwide by iZotope. (Compatibility: Mac OS X 10.3+, Windows 2000/XP; VST, Audio Unit)
iDrum and pHATmatik PRO were also both updated to v1.5.
pHATmatik PRO v1.5 changes:
