Jeremy Evers has updated Atlantis to v0.9g.

What's new:

  • Repeatverb and Destroyverb shapers.
  • Pan shaper.
  • Browse button for Data Folder in config dialog.
  • Fixes for waveform save bugs in some hosts (Cubase 3.1.1).
  • Manual updates.

The Repeatverb and Destroyverb are nasty little reverberation algorithms that are based on something Jeremy wrote for Jim Redfern to use in one of those demo competitions where you make your program crazy small. They can add some wet depth and weirdness when necessary.

They do use a fair amount of CPU, so try turning Filters-Per-Voice mode off in Atlantis if you are using it with the synthesizer. Also try sticking a lowpass filter behind them.

The Pan module is something that Yann suggested and is everything you would expect from a serious panning algorithm. It uses a sine-law.
