Voicemeeter Banana is a real time audio mixer application. It comes with more I/O and a brand new 'next gen' audio engine creating new routing / mixing possibilities by managing 3 hardware sound cards and 2 virtual audio devices in a simple straightforward approach. Originally developed for VOIP users and PC gamers, to mix voice and music on Skype, Google Voice, Lync, Teamspeak and others... With Voicemeeter Banana, VB-Audio Software says it has widened the expanse of computer sound, opening up new possibilities for virtual audio mixing. With 8 Channels, 6 Cells, and Full Parametric EQ on all busses, you can now correct 5.1 or 7.1 diffusion or use the multi-channel EQ as a Crossover to drive 2, 3, or 4 way Stereo P.A. Systems. The Integrated Tape Deck will record or play any audio sources or audio files with a single click of your mouse (WAV, AIFF, BWF, MP3 + MP4, M4A, MOV, AVI, WMA, WMV, etc.).

Voicemeeter Banana also offers two virtual ASIO drivers to connect your favorite pro audio DAW and it introduces the concept of "virtual insert" through a third ASIO driver called "Voicemeeter Insert Virtual ASIO". For example, it allows you to use VST Plugins through a VST Host application like Minihost Modular as an insert on every pre-fader input. Then every input can have its own VST Plugin Chain to process any of your audio sources before it goes to the final mixer outputs.

Voicemeeter includes now VBAN functions to send or/and receive audio to/from other computers of your local network. This is made possible by a new UDP Protocol, designed for Audio Pro and Audiophiles, to transport multichannel audio in native PCM format (all sampling rate supported). Developed like a "RADIO " transmitter / receptor system, VBAN is very simple to configure and allow to send one or several streams to one or several or all computers of the network.

Voicemeeter is now delivered with VoicemeeterRemote.dll and a first application using it: MacroButtons. This tool allows creating several buttons to control different functions of Voicemeeter just by writing simple requests or script. To mute several strips in a single click or launch a sound by a keyboard shortcut, Macro Button allows complex actions on Voicemeeter, like a Push to talk function that also decreases gain on music strip, mutes other talkers, or changes your voice sound, or all in the same time. Voicemeeter Remote API includes Audio Callback Mechanism to make DSP programming.
