Alpha is an equalizer made primarily for mastering. It separates stereo into mid and side signals and allows you independent equalization over both of them. Two sections consists of nine identical peak filters, with four frequency ranges and five selectable Q factors. The Loudness module is based on equal-loudness contour, it can operate dynamically and produces a transparent and smooth frequency response. The Tilt module controls the spectrum slope, which results in brighter or darker overall sound. The Side channel HP filter has adjustable frequency, so you can tighten up the bass. A Low-frequency compressor tames uneven bass response.
