i was on about re: 'the old circuit' (was it a
synth pedal?) - i had a look for the circuits
for the Pearl Thriller but couldn't find (wanted
to mod it a bit MORE)

am reorganising my drives atm, so i'ma gonna make
a compendium of circuits i dl'd and upload. all
other work suspended pending some form of system
retrieval.(man, plugins are great, but if your PC
drops a b*ll*ck, y'r f*ck*d.)

download and burn the cd with the app included. don't say i
didn't tell you. you probably already know about this, but if
you didn't..
includes two wicked ramdrive OS's: miniXP and a Linux, similar
to what Jimi described in the past; you can literally boot to
a RAM OS and go online without having anything at all on your
hard drive. also good for retrieving files in a catastrophic
situation.
+1, trust.

every once in a while, you may download something nasty and malevolent, and these can save your ass!

worth checking out GMKeyboard, too: has midi arpeggiator that is
quite fun (have to see if this has also been updated); you can
register it with HSeib for free, can't remember what that offers.

Hi there,

I have uploaded the latest (2.01) and nag-free version of TracktionKeys to my Dropbox account. Feel free to download and use it as you like. Please remember that some virus scanner will report a keyhook/virus in the 7z file. The reason is the file midihook.dll which is indeed a hook but no virus at all. It's called TracktionKeys because I needed it as an addon for Tracktion on my laptop but of course you can use it for any other sequencer, midi app too. I use it nowadays with Studio One for example.

https://dl.dropbox.com/u/23465911/TracktionKeys.7z (269 KB)

I will remove the download after some time. If anybody wants to provide a download of TracktionKeys in the future feel free to do so on your own server.

Have a nice day!

Post

Guys, if you need a PC keyboard-to-MIDI device that's unobtrusive and very easy to use, get Tracktion Keys(see post above). Thanks a whole bunch to Swindus for this offer, very kind. Good day y'all------

Post

thanks swindus! i'm a mega fan of pc/kb to midi things...
all things being help up against Bomer's, of course!
will be checking this out with keen interest.

@Jimi: a toy you would dig: the Boss MicroBR..
it is either a mini multitrack or the ultimate guitar tuner,
not sure! features 4(x8virtual) track recording, SD storage,
loads of editable fx presets, accompaniment(how do you spell
that?) rhythm, AND a great little guitar tuner..and it is
very cool as a mini portable amphead (hahaha)
shame it doesn't have some sort of MIDI sync function.(yeah,
sorry this doesn't belong here either, but worthy of mention)
if nothing else, it could be a decent extra fx box.
