I was playing around with the electric guitar the other day. Using the position switch gives you a bunch more tones but if I put it to say position 12 and then play for a little bit, maybe only a few notes away, after a few seconds the sound goes back to the default position tone, although K4 still shows it as being in position 12. I hope I'm making sense.

Just a guess at what might be going on...
Make sure that when you edit the position, you're on the default layer. Just a guess, but if you're on another layer, the position will only be set when that layer is triggered. So unless you want to set up a keyswitch or controller that changes the fretting position, just set the position while the layer knob is on "default".
