I can hear a slide between the notes when I use it.I'm not hearing much of a difference
When I change velocities of the two notes.I'm using Dracus.

How does the velocity slide articulation work?

The velocity of the destination note determines the speed of the slide. Bear in mind that this and the other slide articulations replace the existing legato (hammer ons, pull offs), so they're triggered in the same exact way: by playing the starting note, and then playing the destination note while holding the starting note so that they overlap at least slightly. Of course, that also means that the slides are subject to the same legato settings, specifically the legato up/down range, which are set to a major 2nd by default.
