I'm having a problem in the latest updates with the Slide Note not working in either SRP nor IBZ. I have portamento enabled. I play a note and then press the Slide Note keyswitch but nothing happens.

I hope you don't mind if I post my problem here instead of starting a new topic, because I too have a slide note problem (I have Shreddage 2 though)

So I can get my portamento slides to work via velocities, like I want.
Sliding from C to E - works
Sliding from C# to E - works
But sliding from D or D to E - NOPE!

It will occasionally say 'portamento' in the articulations indicator for a SPLIT second, but I don't hear it. Instead of the that slide-in I just hear a sort of crunch. I just can't get it to slide if the interval is a step or a half step.

Here's a sample: the first note is the one that slides. In the first lick the interval between the notes is three half-steps, while the second lick is a step (they're the same otherwise)

Or maybe it's supposed to be this way and I should hack it via the pitch wheel?

Slide notes at <= 2 semitones are a little tricky, but I will take a look at the code again for an upcoming update. I've been updating S2 (and now, the S2 series) for years now and I don't intend on stopping. As we continue to develop our tech internally it will benefit instruments like this.

Right on, you guys are awesome, the work you put into Shreddage really shows!

BTW since we're on the topic of improving Shreddage stuff, I'd like to contact you guys soon because I've made a small modification to Shreddage Bass: Picked Edition's code and I think you might approve. It was the only issue I had with that instrument: I made it so now the downpicks and altpicks each have their keyswitch like Shreddage does. Do I PM you here with the details here or use the website email?
