I'm having trouble triggering notes high on the fretboard.
The manual says all frets are sampled, but I can't program say this riff:
e|----------------------------|
B|----------------------------|
G|----------------------------|
D|----------------------------|
A|----------------------------|
E|-17-0-17-0-17-0---------|
B|----------------------------|
I've tried hand sizes and string selections and mix and max fret preferences, but anything above the 16th fret is always played on the A string.
So um, maybe I'm missing something, has anyone been able to pull this off

Have you tried using the string selection keyswitches to force that string?

Hey sorry for the late reply, fell out of music production for a bit!
Yeah tried pretty much everything, including that.
I use string selection all the time, that's what bugs me so much that it won't obey, it's like it's not able to reach that fret so it goes to another string.
Like I said I challenge you to make that riff happen, cause I can't.
And if you pull it off would you mind sharing the shreddage 2 preset so I can study the settings? (am also using FL studio like you)

Pressing the F-2 default keyswitch to force string selection to the low E string, then playing a scale up the neck starting at E, I'm seeing every single note playing on that string. Make sure you're not overlapping notes and keep in mind the palm mute articulation isn't sampled up the entire neck for all strings...

D'oh! Yes the notes are muted, completely forgot to mention that, sorry Andrew!zircon wrote: keep in mind the palm mute articulation isn't sampled up the entire neck for all strings...
Well that explains it
It's not a big deal I suppose, it's a fast riff so nobody will notice if I play those notes on the A string instead. Besides most guitarists, certainly myself, rarely do palm mutes that high up the neck, I'll live ;D
Thanks for clearing it up!
