So the weather was for staying indoors today.
Just finally got the Mach Five 3.2 loaded and working.
bought a Demo lacie SSD drive to house the samples, so things load up pretty fast.
Lots to discover in the Scattered Entity sounds..
Here's a first track:

Amazing work, Wade - so mysterious, so calm, so haunting - great!TwoToneshuzz wrote:So the weather was for staying indoors today.

Another rather dense arrangemnet, to show the sounds and textures available in the Scattered Entity bank.
I didn't use any external effects, it's composed arranged using Numerology4 pro beta.

Another Track example using Scattered Entity Sounds exclusively , arranged/composed/mixed using Numerology Pro.
I spent some time working on getting modulations going on the Macro pages of the sounds. It's really a great tool Mach Five.

PledPiper: I like the sparse use of the timpanis, great subbass action too, my subwoofer shiver with joy every now and then. The lonely flute playing above this strange melange of electronics and twisted organic sounds is a mysterious combination.

Thanks, I felt I needed to pull off a combination of melody and electronica texture. With some added rich content in the bass.. The flute idea came to mind as the whole idea of this series of tracks is to lead interest of the listener through the labyrinth of sounds available in the Scattered Entity sounds, and the Mach Five interface...Sampleconstruct wrote:PledPiper: I like the sparse use of the timpanis, great subbass action too, my subwoofer shiver with joy every now and then. I'm also getting excited because I'm going to the Opera tomorrow night to se Verdi's Macbeth!
I feel motivated to work hard to produce better tracks when i get to rub shoulers with the grand old masters...
They did it right at the royal opera in Copenhagen the fascility is simply stunning architecturally, functionally and acoustically everything just works, and what a view from the thrid floor mezzanine out to the harbour and the beautiful old city...
Scattered Entity is right up there in the quality department too..
I believe you could easy make 200 unique and interesting tracks with the soundset with a few additional sounds thrown in..

Keeping on working with Mach Five. I explored three patches using the Waterphone sounds as Gong/textures/pad. As well as Timpani and 5 others.

Another track. Oh it's a wonderful set of sounds. I've got no time really busy but I still can't resist working this project.
Here's the new track. Mach Five 3.2 only with the Scattered Entity sounds. I've got a fair amount of modulation going on.

Another example using Mach Five and Scattered Entity sounds.
I'm focusing on using the Waterphone set, so I've got 5 sounds using the Gong, texture, synth, pad and metal hit patches. For a little depth in the Bass I'm using the excellent timpani patch tribal timp..

Some waterphone sounds seem to cut off, which I find a bit disturbing for the flow of the piece.

I caused some trouble with my autofades, I try to ease the hard drops in volume in a new version here: http://soundcloud.com/twotoneshuzz/powe ... v2/s-OjYMdSampleconstruct wrote:Sounds amazing on the big studio speakersTwoToneshuzz wrote:Another example using Mach Five and Scattered Entity sounds.
