I read a post where gigazaga mentioned in passing that if he needed to use a plug in that was incompatible with T6, that he would plug it in to Patchwork.

I am not sure what he meant. Plug the incompatible plug in into Blue Cat Audio's "Patchwork" and then place an instance of Patchwork on T6 track?

Does Patchwork act as some type of "translator"?

I am trying to get Slate Trigger 2 vst2 64-bit and Antares Autotune8 VST3 to work in T6 64-bit.

Slate Trigger causes a poof crash when trying to place an instance on a track.

AT8's GUI dials/knobs/sliders will not turn/slide.

Hereabouts, in the great plug-in incompatibility thread: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-34858350
[W10-64, T5/6/7/W8/9/10/11/12/13, 32(to W8)&64 all, Spike],[W7-32, T5/6/7/W8, Gina16] everything underused.

I think that's the general idea. Why don't you try a demo?
