GREAT! after the remove of the support forum from the site i thought that maybe it was going to be the end..,( but even if it was the case i would stick to xt, LOVE this software (xt2 as host daw sequencers and xt1.4 as subhost) !) thanks Jorgen for keep going.

Thanks for this update.
I just recently migrated away from Reaper to EnergyXT for the MIDI aspects of my DAW work.
Then I export the stems as audio to work on in Reaper.
But the bulk of my work is MIDI so I'm really glad something is still happening with EnergyXT.
Reaper just isn't progressing much for MIDI support.
Jorgen, keep going! Experience a renaissance! and Thanks.
There's that saying in the movie, "If you build it, they will come..."

I guess this means no active development anymore...Coming next wrote: * ...

* License model in version 3.0 changed to donationware
Was somehow to be expected, nevertheless I'm feeling quite about that.
EnergyXT still has so much potential!

Not necessarily. It could simply be a change in business model. I donate to a lot of open source and donationware projects and am more likely to try sofware using that model. If eXT is uninhibited there might be more uptake in users and the financial returns might be greater. Reaper is more or less donationware and that project is highly successful.ZonderP wrote:I guess this means no active development anymore...

AFAIK, the Reaper licence model has not changed. What changes do you think have happened?

* Markers will now loop only if loop is active
* Added track params to MIDI In comp editor (for mapping midi cc to VST params on the selected track in sequencer)
I like the most this correction to the already existing 'Coming next' entry:
* License model in version 3.0 changed to donationware for updates
I will donate!
