There is no Bitwig, just as there is no ReValver 4; nothing to see here folks. Move along...hibidy wrote:
I figured we'd go full bitwig here. Maybe that will help things along

they could've improved on cabinet simulation, but judging by the demos, they left in same old impulse responses. so, cabinets aren't going to be any better than any of those (in fact, TH2 was the first one to go beyond impulse responses, and TSE also does something to improve cabinet modeling).
regarding everything else, we'll see how it goes. S-Gear has great poweramp simulation, so does Amplitube in its latest models (just try the Dr. Z Wreck!), and it seems to be where it's at these days, as preamps seem to have been nailed since a few years back. however, i don't know if i'll be able to notice if Revalver 4 tops those - for all intents and purposes, i consider those to be real amps, not emulations. that probably says something about my ears, but there you have it - i'm completely satisfied with Amplitube and S-Gear, so i'm not sure what Revalver can offer to entice me.

I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.

Is R4 supposed to contain new amp/fx models? I don't see any new models listed in this "Producer Pack". Maybe I am just missing something?Jacare wrote:The new ReValver site is now up and you can already see some prices. Check it out!

Seems to me that the producer pack is the way to go. I'm not really sure I understand completely, but it looks like it contains much of what you'd want, the cabs, the act stuff. 99 bones seems quite fair. Would love an actual list of what is/isn't included.

I like the pricing on the amp store. Glad to see it's honest to goodness dollars and cents and not based on store credits. Prices look very reasonable as well.
