actually it's something I've tried - taking say bird song and then creating the MIDI to then play it via a synth. I've not had particularly good results but I will retry.
I think there is a certain amount of resynthesis within Melodyne Studio - at least that is what they call it within the sound editor thing.

SpecOps works great for transforming any sound into a complex sample when you use the high FFT modes. Once you freeze the sound it can be used to create some very BIG sounds.

Want to up the craziness? Check this out
It would be nice if UA made their own multi-band utility to host their plugins in though.

I didn't know this multiband "minihost" plugin from Blue Cat, it seems to be awesomely powerful, thank you !

A deconstructed take on the Windows 95 start-up sound. Premangled with FScape, then further processed with SpecOps. SpecOps used to randomly freeze the upper partials throughout, and the Clipper module LFOed to create the pulsing effect toward the end.

MB-7 is a genius plugin, pure and simple. Definitely one of those "What can't I do with this?" sort of thing.Julien Unison wrote:

Good news! The Sandman Pro and Instant Delay patches are now available. These fix that pesky AU input monitoring bug. On top of that, dragging the modulation cable to the edge of the modulation row will now scroll the display. Thank you for your patience on this one. It ended up taking a bit more testing than usual as we updated the licenser to now share the version number with the PA Installation Manager. From now on, it will be much easier to check when our plugins are updated.
Also good news: we're running a Twitter contest on this page: https://www.plugin-alliance.com/en/news ... ntest.html Following us on Twitter will enter you to win, and retweeting the contest will add two more chances. The grand prize is all of our plugins. Two other people will win an Unfiltered plugin of their choice.
