Sorry if I am not being clear:
- you do not have to trigger any of the LS sequences, nor create multiple tracks or variations; all that can be done in the host.

What I am suggesting is
- use [Lock to Loop] to copy the loop from the Slicer into an Arrangement track.
- then use the Settings page to specify that you want to to trigger the events[*] in that Arrangement using MIDI notes from your host
- you can send as many different MIDI sequences from your host to LS as you want, each one will use the events[*] in the specified Arrangement.


here's an artificial example:

Also, you could use the facilites of LiveSlice to combine slices from several loops into one Arrangement, then trigger the events[*] in that Arrangement from your host

[*] "event" is the LiveSlice term for a slice in an Arrangement track

So your saying that I can send a note from my host or keyboard to LS and trigger a slice in an arrange track (NOT THE SLICER) ? Not just the whole arrangement?

You sure can:

Have a look at the screenshot below.
- first, on the Settings page, select the MIDI channel and note range that you want to use as the triggers
- then select the Arrangement you want to get the events(slices) from (I picked D1)

Then, in your host (that's energyXT v1):
- create a MIDI part and program in your MIDI notes
- in this example I have actually used a series of MIDI Notes to trigger each slice in turn, but of course you can trigger whichever events you want when you want
- route it to LiveSlice
