I think she sings great. My only thing that bugs me, is too much head voice, I wish I could hear her sing with her belly voice in the high notes she is hitting. And man.. I wish I could play violin. :)

Nice.

Why is everyone going on an on about the poor girl. She's terrific. It's that concertina playing that really needs some over-analysis! I think you need to work on getting the bellows articulation better synced with the note phrasing - it just sounds too much like a sampler to me...

Excellent start! There are a few things that might make it better.

A) Have her can the Sarah McLaughlin imitation. She needs to be herself. The breathiness sounds faked. Maybe try backing her off the mic a little. When she does open up in spots, she sounds great!
B) You need to deaden the area around the vocal mic. You're getting slapback off something, a wall, music stand? Find it and deaden it. It really stands out in the last chorus.
C) When you bring the bass in (2nd verse?), you need DRUMS!!! You're missing something to drive the track at that point. They will really make it come alive.
D) You can use some more reverb on the violin. Just a touch. It seems a little stark.
