Since this thread is about patch selection for developers - is there any reason why VST's need to be limited to a number of presets? I would much rather store unlimited single patches into a a standard windows folder. If I want a new folder I can create one in windows. If the preset browser is able to 'see' all the files in the folders, that is simple and easy enough for me. I can understand patch banks being necessary in the old hardware days, but with modern PC hard disks I see no value in banks.

Dowp - I suppose there are some people still using midi bank changes ... bugger them!
