EDIT: It seems like the documentation archive in the above installation is corrupt which will prevent the installer from running completely. However, I was able to use 7-Zip to decompress the EXE (I imagine WinRAR would work as well). Inside that were three files: BANKS.DAT, DOCS.DAT, and BIN.DAT. I used 7-Zip to decompress each one of these which gave me the individual DLL files needed for installation. I then simply dropped the folder with all the files in my VST folder and loaded it up in Tracktion. Cool synth.

Wow, thanks for the link and details. I used extract now on VX7beta4, and got 4 files: BANKS.DAT, BIN.DAT, SETUP & UNRAR.DLL. I ran setup and got an error message about the missing documentation, but it otherwise seems to work great. I'm impressed how easily it imports DX7 files, though I wish it did it one bank at a time, rather than one voice at a time.

The individual .DAT files are actually just RAR files. You can open and extract their contents with WinRAR if you want to be sure you have everything.
