I have a [non-cpu intensive] track playing in looped mode and have an instance of Convoboy inserted on an Aux bus...everything is fine for the first 2 or 3 loops, but then suddenly P5 hits super-slow mode with 100% CPU. I have tried different latency settings with P5, tried inserting the plugin direct on the track etc, but it always seems to happen...
Any pointers for sorting this problem?

Sorry for the delay in responding - I just got back from a business trip.
Perhaps you can try adjusting some of the settings in the VST adapter.
i.e. switch delay compensation off.

I did actually stumble across the answer a day or so after posting the question...it kind of clicked for me what the problem was when I had the same problem with another convolution reverb plugin. It was the delay compensation that was causing the problem and everything worked fine after switching that off
