are there any VST plugins that focus on an arpeggio kind of effect. It is a great feature on this roland mc 303 sequencer I have but I would love to get the same thing as a VST plug-in to manipulate digital audio.

Get energyXT. The arpeggiator is excellent, and you'll flip when you see the rest of it. Wanna manipulate digital audio?

Mmmmmm..No..not free...39 Euro, but close

Midi or Audio? - From your post it sounds like you're looking for an audio arpeggiator - don't know of any. Camelspace is a great gating fx though for audio ($85)

...As far as midi arps, most host include an arping plugin (SX does). Then there's Arp4midi that comes bundled with xoxos' Talent ($15), and ARPocolypse which is Free (haven't tried). Some VSTi come with integrated arp, although haven't noticed any in freeware.

Hovmod - could you elaborate on the arp in eXT?

There are several midi arpeggiators, which you could feed into a sampler. Is that what you're after?

I don't think you'd want an arp that was acting on an audio-track. It's just not going to sound good.

I'd suggest looking at arps that act on MIDI-notes (like energyxt), and THEN you can plug this arp into a SAMPLER/ROMPLER (e.g. Kontakt), if you really want to arp "samples".

Xoxos's arp4midi and Talent look both of them great, but i can't make them work in LIve4...
HOw to do ? I thought it would be taken as midi plugins, put before the vsti, but it takes it as a vsti, so i have to put it on its own midi track.
And when i send the output of that midi track to the vsti track, nothing comes out.
The online manual only explains the features, but not the global "how to make them work".
ANy help ?
