hi urs,
i can't get a secure connection with secure.shareit.com... it says the identity certificate has expired... is it me and my mac or is it..?

Weird! - Never heard of any such problems with ShareIt before...

Can you send me an email with the details to urs at u-he dot com? I'd send them an email later or give them a call asking what's up...
