The ArtsAcoustic Reverb 1.1.01 update is available for download. This also includes the AudioUnits version, which finally sees the day of light.
Registered users will recieve an update information via email.
Demos are upated.

New features:
* Faster native algorithms (up to 20%)
* Additional 64 bit processing mode (switchable on
the gui), which alowes the plugin to calculate in
double precision. This brings the algorithm to a
next level in terms of audio uality at almost
no increased cpu usage. All presets are fully
compatible to the 64 bit mode.

* "Autoload" preset. This allowes you to choose any
preset, which then will be automatically
loaded on instanciating the plugin.

Bug fixes:
* Crackling when running the plugin with 48kHz
external samplerate.
* Black screen on opening the GUI.
* No sound without opening the GUI.
* Error message on host exit

Updates:
* Documentation.

The ArtsAcoustic Reverb costs $/€189 and is available for
Windows XP(VST) and Mac OS X (AU, VST).

So then I'm off to get the new demo. Less CPU with more quality sounds pretty good!

Best wishes, FRitz

have the notification emails already been sent?

And: any practical experiences with 64-bit mode yet?

cheers,

it works great in our experiance, we tested a lot. the audio quality is enhanced, subtle, but very noticable.
and, in 64 bit mode the reverb does consume only as much power as it did in the previous 32 bit mode versions.

Hi Nick,

just for clarification: I'll stop that now - it was just too tempting.

in 32 bit mode, yes. in 64 bit mode the plugin allmost reaches the same cpu usage as it was in previous versions. but the quality again increases then.

Hi Nick,

As an already registered user of ArtsAcoustic Reverb, are there any special requirements to start enjoying the updated version or do I just download the demo and install over my current version?

Thanks in advance,
Jimmy

you just download the new versions. you should use your initial registration mail for the link.
just install the new version after uninstalling the old one. no additional requirements needed.

thanks for the update!

some crackling in a few edits is gone with the update... yeah... great reverb although it has been dangerous today as I have spent the past couple hours listening to the reverb under all sorts of circumstances (when I should be finishing up a clients website)
