I am trying to find out a way to get midi controllerdata out of live videoimages (webcam/dvcam).
For example to have someone walking in a room, or your own hand in front of a cam captured live. have software on pc1 that makes midicontrollerdata out of this movements and sent that data to pc2 wich runs something like energyXT.
After a googlesearch I found a program called
eyesweb. Looks very interesting and capable of doing that.
Before diving into the program I would like to know if there is someone who knows or has some ready made eyesweb patches that do video to midi? Or knows of other programs capable of doing that.

I've made a delphi program that is beginning to work which translates motion from a webcam to MIDI CC. Cool for live stuff, where it looks like your waving in the air...
But I have a long way to go before it's actually really useful, and I stumbled over eyesweb as well.
I know it can be done with eyesweb, I just don't have the time/can't be bothered to build it. It's absolutely 100% certainly possible to translate motion to midi, and you don't have to do it on separate PCs either.
