Greetings KVR !

HERCs Music Systems is very pleased to announce the official release of Abakos PRO, the full featured successor to Abakos FREE.

Abakos PRO costs AUD $19 (yes, that's right, it's only $19 Australian..which, for many overseas musicians, with the economic state of the world as it is, works out to be mighty inexpensive!)
There is a Demo version available for immediate download with a 10 minute time out limit.

Here's a breakdown of the new features:

* Triangle Waveform now added to Oscillator section
* A very cool Arpeggiator with plenty of control onboard including Tempo and Division.
* Support for TUN (Tuning files) for all you Micro Tonal enthusiasts
* Improved filter with a mean SATURATION button (turn the volume down on this...) for wild self oscillation (which could turn into self mutilation if not carefully handled)
* LP and HP filter types with 12, 24 and 48 db/OCT options
* New Distortion module adds low bit grit to your sounds for extreme sonic mess
* New Rotary effect...LFO--> Pan goodness !
* Special config program giving all users access to some of the internal behaviour of Abakos PRO. From here, you can choose your Oversampling rate, global Volume and Polyphony settings.
* and last but not least of all...a brand new and improved Preset system, making choosing presets much more intuitive.

The included instruction manual has more information should you need it !

Just took a quick stroll through some of the presets. Wow, some really unique sounds going on there. Really like what I'm hearing. Cool looking GUI, too.

Hi Steve, i just purchase abakos pro, but for any reason i cant get to the folder directory...

It says "Browse to the folder directory of this product and double click to open the config.exe file.

Then, input your Validation code and Serial number as provided above."

Hi there. OK, download the zip file (You have to have this first...I probably should have made that clearer on the page), then unzip it. Put it in your VST instruments directory. You can then just go into the folder of Abakos PRO and get to the contents of it. You'll see a bunch of subdirectores and there is one file called config.exe
Just double click that to open it and you'll see where to pop in your serial code !

I did just update the zip file on our server so maybe you grabbed it at the wrong moment. If you have troubles still, download it again or PM me and I'll fix you up

Anyone who tried to download in the last few minutes would have been on the receiving end of a 404 error...that's because I forgot to rename an updated file.
Try again...should all be cool now !
