Fantastic dither! I don't think I'm one of those guys that can tell dithers from ithers, but I'll check out all the plugs. Not sure if they'll work with Cubase, which is not friendly to no-GUI plugins.

Let's talk about analogue compressors as a whole.
Describe to me the essential behaviour of three 'classic' analogue compressors (the essence of their 'classic' sound) and then tell me how you would accurately re-create this sound using Reacomp.
If what you are saying is true, there's absolutely no reason to ever use another compressor (other than Reacomp).

bduffy, I just meant that Loser's dither is VERY configurable. Frankly, I could never really tell differences either, though a lot of people say that they can.

Right! That makes more sense. Some people get excited about dither, I dunno. I do understand its importance, but defer to experts' opinions about what's best.sboullion wrote:bduffy, I just meant that Loser's dither is VERY configurable. I tried the loser plugs - very cool, highly configurable, I hope he makes GUI's some day (try using the 3-band DVC in Cubase!

I think he said he's going to try to get someone to do a nice gui for them. ONCE AGAIN, perhaps our friend grymmyjack could step in here.

Yes, and wasn't there another talented young man looking to do GUI's?sboullion wrote:I think he said he's going to try to get someone to do a nice gui for them. ONCE AGAIN, perhaps our friend grymmyjack could step in here.

I dont know what to tell you. Figure out whther your comp is feedback or feedforward. Look in the schematic for any sort of filtering that happens in the detector. Try and find out what sort of time the comp uses to calculate RMS (if it does). See if you can find any knee information.championrabbit wrote:[

We need to make some presets to start, that would go a long way
