I've got one of these http://www.saitekusa.com/USA/prod/x52.htm
Is there any way to use it as a MIDI controller? I like my Flight sims, and I'm thinking it could be useful in music, there's a vector joystick, lots of buttons, switches and pots. A nice wireless gamepad also could be good for transport control operation of a DAW, sort of like a transport light. I can't be the only one who has ever thought of this, are there any apps that let you use windows game controllers as MIDI controllers?

Bidule has a HID module, there's also a bunch of standalone HID to MIDI stuff out there. I'm too lazy to look right now, maybe someone else will post some links.

Found GlovePIE recently. Looks good, supports a lot of stuff, from P5 gloves to WiiMotes.

Might need a MIDI loopback, Ive not tried it out yet.

An idiot on Set Theory:
"In some cases there is an object called red that contains everything that is red. In much the same way a pot is a plate."
