I'm not sure if there's a question in there - if you are asking what the file is, it's the MIDI learn preferences file - you've MIDI learned the comb1 feedback knob, presumably.

I was wondering what the file is, and also why it popped up on my desktop. I don't recall midi learning anything. I am sure I didn't in fact. But stranger things have happened in Tracktion.

P.S. Transmission is fantastic work. Listened to the demo, bought it, simple.

Yeah, accidental MIDI learns are common, Urs is forever posting about them - happens when you right click on a knob. Not sure why the file is appearing on your desktop though, it should be with the other Zebra data files I would have thought...

Re: Transmission - thanks! Glad you're digging it! :)

Also to me sometimes appears the midimap.txt on the desktop.
On xp side of course, never on osx.

Right... that one... for some (yet unknown) reasons the Win version sometimes forgets where the midi mapping is saved. And then it occasionally saves it to a random location... added to the Improvements thread

Well I did right click. I wouldn't care if it wasn't on the desktop. So I guess it is the fault of XP?

No, it's a bug. But it's not a dangerous one...
