Hi guys!

First post in this forum!

I'm a bit a "learner" in questions on synths, workstations and so on.... I explained my situation here in the WUSIK forum:
http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 3&start=15

So: don't know much and being full of questions!

So, I "hunted" on those sites....

Here:
http://www.backintimerecords.de/bitr052.htm

There is an expansion called "TSW expansion" (32 EUR) with orchestral instruments ond so on.

Is THIS an add-on for my wusik-station (similar to the WSM files whisch provide lots of new sound-presets and sounds...)? Or do I need other stuff before?

I find this page a bit confusing.... (though I found some instresting sounds...)
That's what I asked in the wusik area .. and one guy there gave my an advice to ask HERE - directly!

So I DO: CAN I use this expansion in wusikstation without having any other stuff from "Back in Time"?

TSW and TSW pro are great products and I always used them with Wusik, although they do come with their own form of wusik (the tsw wusik synth) - so it is self-contained. If you already own wusik, you MAY have to convert the presets, but the WusikSND files (the samples) are just fine as is.

Buy it - it's a great product.

Sorry.... my english isn't the very best. What does that mean in concrete?

CAN I use this expansation - purely, wihout having the tsw vst - in wusik?

How could I convert the presets?

Hi MountainKing,

certainly you can use TSW with Wusikstation. wusik.com is providing a Presets converter and they also did the TSW Presets conversion, so you can load them with a Wusikstation too. We have them and usually those Presets will be automatically submitted with the download links when ordering TSW. We have a lot of Wusikstation owners who are using TSW as well as the available Expansions.

Thanx for responsing.

So, I can think about ordering one of the (cheaper) tsw versions..... just for the trial - as I said before: I'm not a crack in those things.

What do you think about the possibilities and the sound qualities in competition with ohter commercial products like East West Silver or stuff like that....??

We sold TSW a lot and actually all customers are quite happy with TSW, the most say, that TSW is a non-brainer product and a must have for owners of Wusikstation. Surely other companies are doing good products too. There are hundreds of Wusikstations owners using TSW, so I guess they can't be wrong. As bitr, that's us, is in the sample business since 1995 you can count us to the really established ones and it says something about the product quality too.

a non-brainer product
What does that mean?

Thx again for the explanations....

He is referring to an american english term, however not said 100%. What he meant to say is that many find purchasing TSW "a no brainer", as in, don't even have to think about it - the answer is so obvious.

TSW happens to be a fantastic product that can be used as bread and butter sounds for almost any genre of music and any project. I bought all of it (TSW, expansions, pro) and use it quite often. There are VERY good samples in that product and the presets are simply amazing!

Sounds nice...

Just that I get it right:

- The TSW VSTs (like "Pro" or "vox'd" or others...) are classical vsti? Just like wusikstation i.e.? right?

- The tsw expansions (32 EUR) are not a vsti for itself but can be added to the TSW VSTs, right? But also can be added to wusikstation because of the same engine inside ... ? right?

Hi MountainKing,

everything about TSW, the VST versions and add-ons for ws-engine VSTs can be find here:
