Why does it 'advertise' it sings in English, but all the demos are songs sung in French?

Legato sounds a bit more natural this time around, but it still songs like the singer has a bad speech impediment.

Maybe version 3?

I didn't understand any word in french lol.

Personnally, I wait for a japanese female voice but more mature than Hatsune Miku.

Good for oohs and aahs, lousy word beginnings as always, and tuned only for high pitches so sounds little like real voice at low pitch. I'm disappointed yet again, still waiting for a good implementation. I'm sure the Vocaloid 2 synthesis can provide much better results than that, I'd just like a company that specializes in more than plain sampling (which I think they're not that good at either) to have something.

To me it sounds better than vocaloid 1.

Although there are only 2 valid mp3 in the zero-gt site (the third dont work for me). Are around some more clips to hear?.

The best vocaloid I heard (mp3 demos or users works) is Vocaloid2 Hatsune Miku.
Shame that it's a childish voice lol.

I liked Sweet Ann (vocaloid 2). Needs a lot of work to get it right, and it also depends on the material, so it's abit hit and miss, but sometimes it works great.

An opera singer, at least for classical opera should have a repertoire in german and italian mostly. French and english come second (well maybe english more second than french

).

You can hear and see some users works on youtube (just type "Hatsune Miku" in the search engine). I read that the software was a bestseller in Japan due to otakus who could have their own virtual idol to play with lol.
I personnaly love japanese female voice but not as childish as Miku.
I would like to have same kind as Meiko (vocaloid1) but with improvements of vocaloid2.

I listened. It's not really childish voice, it's a good anime-voice implementation that's only really good for Japanese language. Sounds far better than Zero-G's stuff, and they made it sound natural overall at all pitches, which is something almost all other implementations stink at.
So I'm still waiting for a good English-oriented, non cartoon voice implementation.

Even for japanese, it's quite childish and as you say, like anime voice.
It's the best vocaloid voice I heard as I said.

Basic japanese pop voice (not those who try to copy american r&b) hasn't lot of modulation in their voice. Like the basic french voice. We call that, in french, "accent pointu". So maybe it's easier to reproduce.

Vocaloid Prima? Why?
