Hi,

Here is a link to a Hyperio ambient experimental piece using sitar/synth. http://www.anotherplanerecords.com/Other.htm.

The manual states that Hyperion is an monophonic generator. It is still on my dream list that there might be multi MIDI added for multi parts. Sort of like drone / melody. Maybe there is a work around that would work.

Cheers,

use two instances :) depending on the parts, i've had some success using the chord parts to drive other instruments. there's a certain amount of flexibility for creating a different rhythmic feel..

one of the ways i improve this is to use midilegato - if you have the main sequence on every 16th and trigger chords less often, eg. every 5th note or so, use midilegato to extend the chord notes (say on channel 2) for a sustained effect.

sometimes i use multiple instances of midilegato to extend the sustain beyond 500ms :)
you come and go, you come and go. amitabha neither a follower nor a leader be tagore "where roads are made i lose my way" where there is certainty, consideration is absent.

Hi Xoxos,

Thanks for the Hyperio tips :).
I experiment largely with long ambient sounds. MIDILegato on Hyperio chord channels sounds like just the thing to get varying sounds of longer lengths.

Found it interesting that you mentioned generating music to inspire with in the Hyperio manual. Inspirational music is an ongoing series on APR. http://www.anotherplanerecords.com/.

Thanks,
