Latest News: Maizesoft updates Maize Sampler to v2.23

I'm a recent buyer of Maize Studio and I like it very much under various aspects.
But it doesn't seem able to load VST bank files (.fxb). Is it true? If yes, it seems to me an unacceptable limitation, considering its price. Every VST host I know, including the free ones, can load bank files. There is no point, in my opinion, in using Maize Studio if it can't. Hope to be wrong. Regards. Giovanni |

Sorry. Maize Studio does not support FXP/FXB load and save. But it saves all the information in the vst plug-ins into the project file for reload. And you can also switch between your four preset. |

Please, implement this feature if possible, as many users have a lot of presets saved in FXB files that become useless using Maize Studio. I'd have two more questions: 1) parameters automation: with all VSTs I've used with MS up to now, when I push the "P" button in the relevant window I can't get the list of the VST's parameters, but only a "Param 0 - Not Assigned" indication. Why? 2) midi processor VSTs: I, as MidiKarval (www.midikarval.net), have made some midi processor VSTs, using SynthMaker, that don't work in MS unless I put into them dummy audio input and output (i.e. not connected with anything else in the VST); what's the reason of this strange behaviour? Many thanks for your answer. MS is a great VST host, with a very nice GUI, and deserves to be fully implemented now that it isn't free (also the one to one relationship between inputs and outputs is a limitation that could be eliminated). Best regards. Giovanni |

Best regards. Giovanni Please send me two example vsti links which show the above problems you described. I will look into those and give you a feedback at the weekend. my email: cxhawk[at]gmail.com |
