Given that PNG is an image file format, wouldnt it be just a touch more helpful to give him a link to whatever software it is that would help.Midiworks wrote:PNGkylie wrote: if there was some piece of software capable of doing this an easy way and without quality loss, I wouldn't say no to a hint![]()
An idiot on Set Theory:
"In some cases there is an object called red that contains everything that is red. In much the same way a pot is a plate."

I had the same problem of losing those cool knob previews on mine too. They showed up for a while on v1.19, I resaved all my old .knobs to generate the thumbnails, and then one day they all disappeared! The problem (with mine anyway) is that the registry keys, as written, are intolerant of moving the knobman application. Try this regedit fix, a little simpler than the one originally posted by g200kg; this one will also permit you to move the application around in the future:
Go to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\CLSID\{DACF1572-386E-4c4a-9B00-4E0EB6342970}\InProcServer32
change:
default="C:\Program Files\g200kg\KnobBrowser.dll"
to:
default="KnobBrowser.dll"
That fixed it for me!

hey sorry for the late reply ...
thanks for the tips, unfortunateley this tip didn't do it for me, either ...
but i decided to wait for a proper update anyhow, so the installer will finally do what it has to, i hope ...
besides that: g200kg, any news?
how's your "guimaker" evolving?
say something!
