FSA Junction audio to MIDI plugin Released

Well, you plug your guitar into this plugin, then plug that into a MIDI synth plugin. This thing outputs MIDI data from your guitar's output.
For best results, you'll want a fat, dull tone, like with the neck pickup and the tone rolled off. You might want to put a compressor or a maximizer or volume boostage before it too.

My guitar's actually plugged into a computer right now, so I'll see.
Ok, you just load it basically, then load a synth after it.
How this all works depends on your vst host program. I use Reaper, and I set the input to one audio input of my M-Audio soundcard, as opposed to the midi input. Then I press the fx button, go to vst section, and select junction.

It's supposed to mute the sound, and it outputs midi.
So you just need to figure out how within Sonar to take the midi output of this fx plugin and route that to a synth.
I'd look for a registered Sonar forum, there probably is one.

Hello audiodob
Not sure how to insert into Sonar I own v2 but have not updated or installed for years. You might want to try using a VST chainer like Ext as the VST insert and then load Junction and a VSTi into the chainer?
Hope it helps?

Any chance we can get a polyphonic version or is there something I'm missing?
For a poly version there needs to be a hex pickup involved to track eack string seperate. But yeh its not impossable and would reduce latency and also fix the tracking of low notes. Have to get a (what is it called) GK-2 (I think) pickup to find out what it outputs? Still not that far YET
Peace

You should really look for a registered user Sonar forum instead of giving up every 5 seconds.
