Gregjazz wrote:As I've mentioned, the next thing to be released is a big, free update for all the CoreBass Cherry libraries.

Here's what will be in the update:

- Intelligent round robin for all the libraries (right now only the picked bass has scripted round robin)

- Mod wheel vibrato

- Velocity range modeled with EQ

- Slide mode while holding sustain pedal. With this, you can create slides from any note to another.

- Manual mode: get direct control of selecting articulations whenever you want.
SUH-WEET!

Here's what the custom slides sound like: http://www.gregjazz.com/upload/slidesdemo.mp3

They're really fun playing on the keyboard, too!

This feature reminds me of another bass library I have, and it's my favorite feature of that library(because it's so fun!). But the library is larger because it's very extensive. So this will be a nice feature to have in this bass library since it's a smaller library and can be used in heavier projects without sacrificing that cool feature.

Great to hear!

The update is nearly finished!

I wanted to thank everyone for making these product releases so successful! I've received a TON of great feedback, and there will be reviews of my sample libraries in upcoming issues of magazines such as the German Sound&Recording magazine and the German KEYBOARD magazine. I could not have hoped for better, thank you all so much! I'm also really excited about the products I have planned for the future.

Best regards,

Greg

This is a great customer-support and the picked and the fingered bass are absolutely fantastic libraries. I'll pick up the slappyslap too eventually.

As you know I've got a free loop library for all three CoreBass Cherry libraries under development. And then the next product is a guitar library. Here are the specifications:

- Sampled down to low B
- Automatic string/fret selection (each string sampled individually)
- 2x round-robin downstroke + 2x round-robin upstroke
- Intelligent legato (slide up, slide down, hammer-on, pull-off)
- Custom slides, allowing you to slide from one note to another
- Three pickup settings

Oh, I also wanted to mention that the introductory discount for CoreBass: Cherry Slapped ends this Friday, so you have the remainder of today as well as tomorrow to pick up a copy at a $10 discount (plus another $5 off if you own any of the other CoreBass: Cherry libraries): http://www.orangetreesamples.com/index. ... roductId=2

Actually, I'm thinking of making the separate pickup settings separate products, or at least separate patches, so that way you don't have to load up all the pickup samples at once. It also means I can sample more articulations per soundset, too.

If your guitar lib is anything like your bass it will be killer!
if you wanna save yourself some time do it like the guy from Prominy.
He modified his strat for the sampling process in a way that every pickup had its own output so with one downstroke he could simultaneously sample the signal of each pickup seperately.

looking forward to your future products!
