monomate + sonar issue

I have a wierd issue with monomate. It seems that if I play a midi file back through monomate it randomly hangs a note continuously throughout and if there is no midi data is present, or a gap between two notes, it simply jumps to the hanged note.

It's driving me up the wall! It did it with sonar 5, and also does it with sonar 8 (and guessing with everything version inbetween).
