Anyone has a clue of which drum machine was used on Depeche Modes Enjoy the Silence?

By that time in their career, they were mostly using samples and not drum machines, but the snare on the track is definitely originally from a TR-909.

I really doubt they were using any samples (in the sense of stuff ready to use recorded by others)

What if that "third party sound" works?
I don't think DM were paranoid enough to avoid using a great sound, be it sampled or synthesized.
To me, it's a 909 too. I have a 909 sample pack that has a snare exactly like that.
