I need to do a mockup arrangement of a gospel choir (real singers will be coming in to replace what I do, thankfully). Can anyone recommend any sample libraries, sound fonts, etc.?
The only thing I've found is Spectrasonics Vocal Planet, which is a bit expensive and overkill for something I will only use once...

You could try Urban contemporary gospel. Got 10/10 in CM if I remember correctly.

Omnisphere contains some of the Vocal Planet gospel stuff, if you need playable melodies etc. Nice very playable hmms, whoahs etc, and some general worshipful / shouty ambiences. No sung phrases or words though.
Omnisphere, of course, will be useful in the rest of your work too, no doubt... it's just the excuse you need!

You're kidding me! Tis true! Make sure you have the latest library updates (and all other updates while you're there) and just type "gospel" into the search box!
They have their own category too, under human voices and gospel I think.
