Receptor C, 2 gigs ram, 160 gig hd, OS 1.6, Komplete 4, Ivory, Atmosphere, Zebra 2, for complete information, please see the ebay listing.

I regret that I must part with my Receptor. I still remember the first time I had the" aha" moment as to why the Receptor was worth all the time and money I invested into it, which seemed like a lot since I already had a full functional Logic based laptop system.

The first time I sat down and played Ivory on the Receptor, I got it. There were no clicks and pops, no strange glitches to work out, nothing that took away from the experience of playing. With a 64 sample buffer and 80 count polyphony, it felt like playing a real instrument.

Stacking B4 II, Scarbee's Rhodes on Kontakt, and a few Atmosphere pads along with a Zebra lead, the Receptor didn't complain. I finally had all the sounds I needed at my fingertips, without the need to haggle with a computer or worry about glitches and restarts.

But now I no longer have the ability to play out and in fact can't play very much at all given a struggle with hyperacusis and tinnitus. The Receptor has been idle too long and needs a new home.

Thanks to the community for helping me solve a few issues along the way and to Bryan (groovology) for helping me make the most of my Receptor and enjoy using it for so many years.
