I think I've recovered all the presets except for kodama's. I PMed him, he should get back to me soon.
I have presets for MCnoone, autodafe, BradP, Blurk, Gamma-UT, and hellleutel.

Of course, these are the older presets for most of them. So if you need to change them to be 2.3 compatible please re-send.
I don't recall getting any from elxicano this round. If you did send me something and I lost it, please PM me as well.

OMG!
this is going to be the most unlucky contest of all times!!!
thx bmrzycki for letting me know you got my files again. However I have not changed them since my initial submission, no need to redownload if you have found them

Hey bmrzycki, I have not sent anything. Saturday will be my only chance to test and correct any compatibility issues. I am still definitely participating, but am pretty thick in a couple of existing projects. Saturday is officially elxicano's Zebra day.bmrzycki wrote:

Ok everyone! First, the presets!
ZPC-04: Strike a Beat
This set was particularly difficult to normalize do to the dynamic nature of percussion. I tried to focus more on getting this body of the sounds at the same volume level. With that said, I recommend auditioning with a brick-wall limiter on Normalized/ and be sure to listen to Original/ too!
I'm quite impressed by the results of this contest, there's some very unique loops and percussion sounds. Some presets make use of XYs, some Modwheel. Be sure to check the info box and Perform page for each preset before deciding on your top three.
I'll let hakey make the voting thread.
Good luck to everyone who entered. And to everyone else, get voting!

I still haven't added 2.31, but can anyone confirm a difference in listening to these presets in 2.31 vs. the 2.5 beta?
I think I'll have to hold off on voting until I load 2.31... oh, well. Like I said... It's my own fault for not getting 2.31 back on the computer.

Just done a quick comparison and, to my ears, the patches sound identical, whether in 2.3.1 or 2.5.9.elxicano wrote:I know it's my own fault since I didn't get around to checking compatibility, but my preset sounds like crap now.

So sounds bad in both ...oh well. Even the LFO's show differently. I won't say anything more since it's all anonymous, but at the end of the contest I'll post the correct one. It really is night & day.hakey wrote:Just done a quick comparison and, to my ears, the patches sound identical, whether in 2.3.1 or 2.5.9.elxicano wrote:I know it's my own fault since I didn't get around to checking compatibility, but my preset sounds like crap now.

I had to update the zip file. I had inadvertly saved my name on a preset that is both not mine and should have an empty name string.
I also realized I had lost someone's presets and just had them PMed to me again. There are now 2 more presets in the bank. Please re-download and adjust your votes should you feel the new ones are worth awarding.
I'm really terribly sorry about this. It seems like we should rename this contest to Murphy's Law.
