Hello there, just posting a thread for any questions, suggestions or bugs you might have for FMMF, the Dev Challenge entry from de la Mancha, powered by botkiller presets.
http://www.kvraudio.com/developer_challenge_2009.php#dc09_39 FMMF is a 4 Op FM synth with 32 stage envelopes and more... |

hi dlm! really cool synth.
question: i'm trying to pass OP1->OP2 and i configured the routing to be one that has 1->2 but it doesn't sound like it's modulating it much. like op1 has a saw, op2 has a sine, but when i raise the level of op1 (which is said to be modulating op2) it doesn't really sound that different. am i overlooking something important? |

Thanks for checking FMMF out grymmjack I'm getting a healthy modulation of Op2 by Op1 here. I made a preset that demonstrates this, exactly as your set up http://www.delamancha.co.uk/misc/FMMF_op1_mods_op2.zip Op1 is a saw Op2 is a sine The Op1 amp envelope modulates across 8 segments, so the amp of Op1 goes up and down and so the modulation comes on and off. When Op1 amp is low, you hear a steady sine, when Op1 amp is high, you hear a buzzy sound and a piccy of the settings too
