I had my receptor for a little over a week now, and all I can say is:

Wow!

It does everthing as advertised and even more. I'm totally blown away. I don't know about studio people but for live gigs this unit is a must. Now I can save all my plugins parametres in one easy step. I've started setting up my gig and I'm moving fast.

It would have taken days, on my pc, to setup what I just did in one short evening. And moving my gears around will be a breeze now. No more fancy computer setup with all the wiring and sound card; no more clicking all over the place. One unit, 2 output cables to the amp and that's it!

Everything, from the GUI to the front panel, was designed to answer my needs. I keep finding usefull stuff I never knew was there.

I had a few drawbacks on small issues but Muse support was right there with me and everything was resolved quickly.

I felt the need to post my appreciation for this unit. I don't see many in here. This is a real piece of engineering art if you ask me.

Long live to Muse Research!

I know we give Muse grief sometimes but it is out of love.

I hardly ever turn anything else on in the studio - I do love the sound of this thing.

I just purchased mine a few weeks back.

Just wondering have you tried using the multlipatches live and changing the volume levels at all?
I'm about to go out on tour with it and am having problems figuring out how to manipulate my layers and splits in real time. Ie volume changes, fliter effects ect.
The posts I've read talk about using a separate midi mapper. Just wondering if you 've used it .

The Receptor user guide details the CC/MIDI mapping. You can bypass the Mixer and send CC's directly to the plugin by selecting "Route CCs directly to Source Plugin" from the SETUP menu. I have a Event Box from MIDI solutions that I use if I want to tweak what is being sent from my controller.
