Triton with Receptor

Hey guys,

I realize my question mostly has to do with operating the Triton, but I thought I'd give this a shot, seeing as some of you probably use Tritons.

I've got a Triton Extreme 61 with a Receptor Pro Jr. with Komplete 5. I'll be doing a show between Christmas and New Year's that's quite a ways away from me, so I'll be bringing the Receptor. They have a Triton Studio over there, so my plan is to use the Triton's sequencer, save all my songs on a CF card and bring the card and the Receptor.

So. I've never really used the Korg's sequencer. My first glitch is when using the "Locate" key - Triton Ex keeps sending a Program Change to the Receptor every time I press that darn key (to go back to the beginning, or a specified point, of the song). I've tried the various methods of MIDI filtering on the Receptor side, and I'm not sure what to do anymore. =) I've also looked at trying to eliminate those messages from the Triton, but as soon as track parameters are selected as "EX" (required to send MIDI message out), the manual seems to imply that those Program Change messages will be sent too.

Any ideas?!?

Hah! So I spent the evening on this, thinking this HAD to be some simple thing - most likely some box in a menu somewhere I had to uncheck, or check, or whatever.

I was right. =) Global MIDI settings - turn off Program Change. Too easy. I don't mind manually loading up a Multi on the Receptor before every song, but that does beg the question if there's a way to tell the Receptor, via the Triton's sequencer, to load up a brand-new multi with all of the plugins. There's gotta be a way...

But, I now have a more serious problem, to which the solution is most likely just as simple. When I press keys to record my tracks, sound comes out. And, I see the Triton has stored the MIDI data. BUT, when I play back - no sound.

Open the Receptor to the SETUP window and select "Ignore Bank Select and target Multis. This will filter out MSB/LSB so that you do not jump out of the Multi you are working with. Also you may want to use SnapShots rather than standard Multis.
