It comes with a shedload of instruments/sounds and features compared to the lean hosts, and doesn't have any of the limitations that come (not) parceled with leanware.

How do they do it???!?!??!!?!

SX1 was something else, or N1. It paved an incredible road-map.

I don't know about you, but I work almost entirely in a single Window in Cubase. All the info is there for the most part. I know this is a joke thread, but people talk about "tons" of windows in Cubase all the time, but it's highly possible to avoid most of the windows.

Cubase still rocks, even if it had 40 windows. Call it bloatware if you want(not talking to you Alfalfa, we're on the same page here!), but I call it the best host eva!!!

People with one tiny monitor and who need to see their tiny free vstis all the time for some reason hate the cubase windows management. "Always on top" toggle, pretty challenging stuff innit...

I have two 23" Cinema Displays and understand how to call things up from the keyboard well enough, to, you know, command/B to get the browser or even F11 for the vsti rack. I have tremendous workflow with it today.

Also I'm fat and bloated myself, I don't identify too well with scrawniness and "efficiency"...
