Minimum setup for beginner in MuLAB

Hi,

I want to use MuLab only to save midi files generated in my Roland Keyboard and then replay them on the keyboard. I don't want to edit those files (!).

Question: what is the minimum functionality I have to use?

I use only
- one track, directed to rack A
- rack A, in which I have included the Roland FP through midi

I have configured midi input, and the software records a song played on the keyboard (a sequence exists, and I can rename it). But my problem is that I cant get the software to simply replay it. When I hit PLAY, nothing moves.

Any hints?

If you want the Roland Keyboard to play, you need have nothing in any of the rack slots. You need to have a MIDI Output port for the cable leading to the keyboard and set that as the target for the track.
