I reset the first 4 patches in the default bank and created 3 of them from scratch and one I tweaked from a "random" preset. I also gave them fancy names.
http://xybreion.org/upload/xybre/vst/MrBank.fxb

I'm actually really surprised at how subby and good at bass MrAlias can be and also how quickly it can turn into digital noise. I like the ring mod on the filter. Since it has that digital squeal when you turn up the Res, the ringmod can sound very similar to adding more Res, but its more.. uhh.. better sounding to me.

Anyway I didn't really do a bunch of presets and I dunno how good they are (best played in low octaves if at all) so I'm not sure I deserve a license as such.

thanks synthgeek and xybre! will send licenses tonight.

i just fixed a bug where the mod matrix would be saved wrong when saving banks. that was a bad one...

i also made it so you can drag and drop multiple presets at once.

What a beautiful Monster. Love
A handful of patches about to come up during the next days. And two questions:
- is it normal that custom waveforms don't get restored together with their original patch?
- is it possible to make the save patch/bank function memorize the last used dir?

when saved as a bank, only the current drawn waveforms are saved... i'm working on a fix for that. for now you can save individual patches...

will do. also, the next version will actually have some sort of folder structure within the "MrAliasPro" folder.

oh yeah, pm me your e-mail address so i can send you the new keyfile.

But only if the wood block matches the better-sounding "realistic wood sides" on the GUI... Wink

i just uploaded new betas:

Windows VST
Mac VST
Mac AU

changes:
- Drawable waveforms are now saved per-patch within banks
- Changed folder structure in MrAliasPro folder
- Included "Amateur" bank from non-pro version
- GUI size is saved only with default bank and plugin state
- Fixed bug with formant filter blowing up
- Added support for user-defined default patch ("Init.MrAliasPatch")
- Shift-click Reset button to reset whole bank to default patch
- Added current value display to right-click control menu
- Added link to user's manual from main menu
- Added indicator in main menu for assigned modulation routings
- Added "settings.ini" file
- Last used patch/bank folder is remembered in settings.ini
- Added skin selection to main menu (saved in settings.ini)
- Added menu option to load MrAliasKey

patches are still welcome... or demo songs, skins, etc.

Great news - especially the patch dir handling!

I found some weird behaviour where on loading a new patch, Mr. A would not update the GUI until a control is moved. The sound changes instantly though. I suspect that it only happens on .MrAliasPatch files, but will investigate further. This already was present in the previous version.
