In making my own preset browser with search, which module would I use to get the contents of the hard drives and how would I best implement a search feature? Some of the dhaupt ones crash my project with the newer SE 1.1. None of the CK ones have given me problems - yet.

I love the idea of having a graphic button that, when pressed, gives you the popup preset browser.

Does SE 1.1 have the ability to write each modules state to an external file such that it can later be called back using a preset browser. How would I go about implementing that?

Also, I need to make it so that all of my multisample files can reside on any hard drive path and be called back so the presets work - so it would have to intelligently search for the missing samplesets on the harddrives or ask you for a location. I would LOVE to simply define a sampleset path and then use that for all subsequent searches.

Thanks for anyone's help. My project is like, 95% done and I REALLY want to add my own custom preset popup browser to it.
